The private exterior flagstone terrace boasts a cedar wood hot-soaking tub, living bonsai cliff garden, and an array of upscale outdoor furnishings for pleasurable relaxation and entertainment. Information

Located in the historic country village of Union Deposit, this 2 bedroom getaway is the closest rental house to Hershey Park and attractions. Fully renovated in the fall of 2011, this sophisticated brick townhouse complete with urban refinements joins 18th century charm, sure to make any traveler feel at home. The house has a full gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The bathrooms are modern with sleek glass enclosed showers and granite tile floors. As per the travel theme, the house is full of outstanding world travel art, textiles and antique accent pieces. The property has a private backyard terrace area for entertaining family or friends. The terrace area is bordered by a beautiful living bonsai cliff (not recommended for climbing), which has been a hit with local garden clubs and tours. Dining is available across the street at the historic Union Canal House. A park along the Swatara Creek/river provides swings and a slide for the kids - great family recreation a walk away from the house. The Swatara Creek also boasts great fishing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking.

Golfers will not be disappointed either with world class courses, including two new establishments less than 3 miles away. The heart of Amish Dutch Country is less than an hour away. Come see the 'plain people' live as if the 19th was a modern reality. Horse and buggies and the absence of electric power adds to the charm of the Old World lifestyle Amish folks live. Nature lovers will find a variety of activities within minutes from the site, including fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Conveniently located near all the splendors Pennsylvania has to offer. Major cities like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. are only a few hours in either direction from this centrally located spot.   • Follow N. Rt39 away from Hershey Park and Giant Center
  • After crossing over the Swatara Creek make the next left on to Canal Rd.
  • Follow Canal to stop sign, turn left and immediately right
  • The Travelers' Post is the 1st house on the right!
